Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick Honeycomb and Souffle

While the Sephora sale has recently come and gone, my online order has arrived and I can finally share its contents. Of course, like with all of my other packages that come so infrequently, I ran to the door to grab the mail and I ripped open the box as if it were Christmas morning. I was especially excited to receive this order because when I went shopping at my local Sephora during the sale, they were all out of so many colors of Bite Beauty’s new Amuse Bouche Lipsticks (a hint that these babies would actually be worth the price), so I was finally going to be able to swatch them for myself.

In total my whole order included two of the lipsticks in Souffle and Honeycomb, a Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in Bellini (so pretty), and I ended up trying the Sephora collection Rouge Gel Lipliners in a few different colors.Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick, Honeycomb Souffle

But back to the stars of the show, the Amuse Bouche Lipsticks. First off, the packaging of these lipsticks is adorable; they come packaged in a sleek tube, boxed away and then covered with a decorative sleeve. I mean, how thoughtful of them to make the packaging so adorable. When I opened both of my lipsticks I could not help but try and spare the packaging.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick Honeycomb and SouffleHoneycomb: Beige Nude – this one is definitely my favorite to wear alone or with a gloss

Souffle: Marshmallow Pink – I love this pink, so unlike me, but paired with a gloss it’s awesome

The consistency and creaminess of the lipsticks is my favorite. I was really apprehensive to buy these, just because although I love changing up lip colors, it’s sometimes not practical for me to spend a lot of money on something that I usually wipe off my lips quickly. BUUUUUT ladies and gentleman, I am so pleased I purchased both of these colors. The formula of these lipsticks is unlike any other brand I’ve EVER tried. They are creamy, pigmented, hydrating, and surprisingly long-lasting.

I shouldn’t be too surprised about the overall product being so awesome, because just knowing a little bit about the brand, their quality is so exceptional and different. Bite Beauty creates products that are formulated from natural and food-grade ingredients – I mean, there are 12 edible oils in these things… The products are also formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, and they are gluten free. If you click this link here to Sephora, you can check out all 34 shades in this lipstick collection, or you can just do what I did and watch the brand video introducing them (for some reason it made me want them even more).

Overall I am so in love with these! I eventually want to pick up more shades to have more of a variety, especially with berry colors. These products are definitely high quality, and they sit so nicely on my lips I won’t even mind putting on lipstick. Did anyone else purchase these during the big sale, if you did, what’s your favorite shade??

Until next time,

  1. Pretty! Paige – what’s your take on Maybelline’s Super Stay 24 TM/MC Color lipstick? I recently bought one and wanted to get your opinion – have you tried it yet?

    • I honestly haven’t tried that yet, but I love the formula of most Maybelline lipsticks. I feel like for the price point they’re pretty good, so hopefully you like the one you purchased!

      • Try putting on a thin layer of lip balm first… I do that with some liquid lipsticks that I think are drying and it really helps it look more natural and feel more comfortable, the only problem is it doesn’t last as long that way. I’ll have to try one though for myself!
